Des Moines, Iowa – Homesteaders Chairman and President Graham Cook has announced that the National Funeral Directors Association has awarded the nationally recognized Associate Certified Preplanning Consultant designation to several employees in the company's West Des Moines office, according to a news release.
“We are very proud of these individuals for making the extra effort to achieve certification and proving their continued support of Homesteaders mission and commitment to funeral service,” Cook said.
The newest Homesteaders staff members to receive the CPC designation are: Pam Kleese, director-marketing information; Krista Frank, vice president-customer service; Kim Medici Shelquist, director-marketing communications; Jodi Wyckoff, assistant manager-customer accounting/support; Heather Nielsen, account executive; and Cindy Theophilus, account executive.
NFDA’s Certified Preplanning Consultant program, established in 1996, recognizes qualified, knowledgeable individuals who are committed to provide ethical and caring advance planning service for all families. “Those who earned the CPC designation have achieved a unique career distinction that is highly valued by families that want to plan meaningful funerals in advance,” said Colleen Murphy Klein, who manages the program.
