METAIRIE, La. – Preneed Funeral Program (PFP) took home several awards, including three top honors, at Homesteaders Life Company’s annual Leaders Conference held this year in Jamaica March 5-10, which honored achievements in sales for the 2012 year.
Quinn Eagan, President of PFP, was awarded two of the prestigious Daniel M. Voecks Sales Achievement Awards, one for Volume and the other for Paid Annualized Premium. Named in honor of Homesteaders’ late Chairman of the Board Emeritus Daniel M. Voecks, the awards recognize the organization with the highest volume and the highest paid annualized premium, respectively, with an average age of 75 or below, for sales in 2012.
With over 12,000 contracts written in 2012, PFP was recognized at the conference for producing over $70 million for Homesteaders.
“It took 6 years of hard work and some great funeral home owners that wanted to grow their atneed business,” said Eagan of PFP’s success with Homesteaders. “We trained the preneed counselors on our proven systems which work whether you are in Quebec, Ohio, or North Carolina—you follow the automated system and you will achieve success.”
Roger Seay, PFP’s highest producing sales counselor with over $2.3 million in production for 2012, was awarded the James O. Wilson Personal Achievement Award for Paid Annualized Premium. Named in honor of Homesteaders’ late CEO James O. Wilson, this award is presented to the counselor with the highest paid annualized premium, with an average age of 75 or below, in 2012.
“I really can’t take full credit for all I have achieved,” Seay said. “Without the support and leadership I have received over the years from PFP and the funeral homes that have brought me into their community, I wouldn’t have the opportunity to do what I do. To have the persistency to go out and do what I do day after day and to see these kinds of results just proves that our
systems work and are successful.”
Twenty-one additional sales counselors for PFP took home awards recognizing their sales achievements, which qualified them for attendance at the conference this year. Homesteaders also awarded 11 counselors with production over $1 million with VIP status, six of which represented PFP.
Held in a different location each year, the Homesteaders Leaders Conference recognizes the sales achievements of preneed counselors who have qualified to attend with a minimum production of $720,000. The 2014 Leaders Conference will be held at the Paradisus Palma Real in the Dominican Republic.
