Selected Independent Funeral Homes Travels to Austin for 95th Annual Meeting

DEERFIELD, ILL. — Selected Independent Funeral Homes announced that registration is now open for its 95th Annual Meeting taking place at The Omni Austin Hotel Downtown, Oct. 16-19. The Selected Annual Meeting is open to all professionals within independent funeral service interested in pursuing continuing education and networking opportunities.

The meeting features pertinent educational sessions and seminars eligible for continuing education credit. In addition, the opening, general and closing sessions feature renowned speakers including Dan Clark and Michael Brandwein as well as an in-depth discussion of the Funeral and Memorialization Information Council’s (FAMIC) new public education campaign encouraging consumers to “Have the Talk of a Lifetime.”

Selected has made application for up to 10 hours of continuing education for applicable sessions from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and all states requiring continuing education.
