Funeral Home Owner Brent Shehorn Wins August Sich Casket Giveaway

SICH CASKET has announced the winner of its monthly “Year of the Funeral Director” casket giveaway for August. The winner, Brent Shehorn, is the owner of Lake Shore Funeral Home in Waco, Texas.

Shehorn will receive the Sich 18-gauge steel “Morion” casket (Sich model #HJ16), which features a black exterior with natural brush finish and white crepe interior. Delivery is provided by Wise Products in Honey Grove, Texas.

Shehorn has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Texas since 1991. He served a number of Texas funeral homes as funeral director, embalmer and restorative artist before opening his own 16,000 square-foot funeral home in 2008.

He is the fifth person to win a Sich casket as part of the monthly giveaway, following Howie VanRensselaer of VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home in Randolph, New York; Daryl R. Berry of Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home in Campbellsville, Kentucky; Todd Schrag of Roper and Sons Funeral Home in Lincoln, Nebraska; and Todd Howell of Woodfin Funeral Chapels in Murfreesboro and Smyrna, Tennessee.

The next Sich casket giveaway drawing will be held at the end of September.
