Passare Releases Advanced Preneed Integration with Funeral Directors Life

ABILENE, Texas – Passare, Inc. recently released an advanced integration with Funeral Directors Life Insurance Company, offering the funeral industry’s only integration between a preneed company and an at-need funeral administration system, the company said in a prepared release.

“This integration with Funeral Directors Life is one way we are helping our clients connect, communicate, and collaborate more effectively with families,” said Jay Thomas, CEO of Passare, Inc. “Phase two of our integration eliminates the need to go outside of Passare to check preneed case information including contract amount, payment information, death benefit amount, and much, much more. Being able to access all this information from one convenient platform helps our clients save time and labor. It also helps funeral professionals quickly and easily reference a preneed case for a family, all from one convenient platform at any time, from any Internet-connected device. This is a big step forward for Passare and for the industry as a whole.”

As new preneed policies are issued, clients of Funeral Directors Life and Passare will automatically have preneed cases added to their Passare collaboration and case management platform, according to the release. Previously, preneed case data including vital statistics such as name, gender, date of birth, family and friends, and contact information was included in the integration. With the recent new release, each preneed case added to Passare’s system will also contain specifics for the preneed contract such as payment information and estimated death benefit. In addition, Funeral Directors Life’s client funeral homes who are Passare subscribers can also request an import of all historical active preneed funeral cases into Passare, the release said.

“We are continuing to enhance our integration with Passare - essentially the only integration of its kind between a preneed insurance company and an at-need administration system,” said Funeral Directors Life President and CEO Kris Seale. “Our goal is to continue to help funeral professionals connect and communicate better and more effectively with the families they serve through improved technology services and innovation. Ultimately, our mutual clients at Passare and Funeral Directors Life are benefitting from being on the cutting edge of technology solutions in the funeral profession.”
